Discovering German will provide the learner with a comprehensive introduction to some of the most essential and elementary skills in German. The course begins with an introduction to the German alphabet, German pronunciation, and basic grammatical concepts such as sentence structure and the conjugation of verbs. The course will also introduce students to unique aspects of the German language, such as its utilization of gender and a case system. There is a significant amount of vocabulary introduced throughout the course in order to provide a rich lexicon for communicating a large variety of ideas. Students will also be presented with many German cultural tips. Situational dialogs, audio presentations, interactive exercises, and games will help learners expand their knowledge. This course is self-paced. |
