Course Description:	Discovering Chinese is an introductory course to Modern Standard Chinese - Mandarin as the spoken language and simplified characters as the written language. Students will also learn the basics of Pinyin for pronunciation purposes. This course introduces a beginner's vocabulary using examples, games, podcasts, and online assignments to make Chinese fun and accessible. Students will also get a glimpse of Chinese tradition and society through cultural tips. This is a self-paced course.
