Course Description:

In this course, students will explore possible career options according to their interests and what is available in their community. They will also be exposed to indepth interview etiquette and resume-building techniques. Students will see the importance of having and maintaining time-management skills, will learn how to calculate salary and wages earned, and will be exposed to tax information. Finally, students will learn the information needed to buy or rent a home or car and to make other major purchases. Students will learn the importance and benefits of having different types of insurance. |
