This series addresses improving paraprofessional knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics. The paraprofessional will understand the four key elements of reading fluency and explore effective writing instruction.

This series provides vertical articulation from grades Pre-kindergarten through 12 to “illustrate the growth and connectedness of content ideas.” The Navigating through Algebra series “reflects NCTM’s vision of how algebraic concepts should be introduced, how they grow, what to expect of students during and at the end of each grade band, how to assess what students know, and how selected instructional activities can contribute to learning.”
