USDLC

United Star Distance Learning Consortium (USDLC), with over twenty years of experience in distance education, is a non-profit educational consortium offering effective, efficient, affordable, year-round online K-12 professional development.

Subscribers include local area education agencies, universities, state departments of education, education service centers, school districts, and individual educators.

Courses address improving effectiveness of interaction with those of different cultural backgrounds, utilizing primary concepts for working with ESL students, identifying appropriate activities for language levels, and creating the right learning environment.	Individual Registration $200/person/course for courses offering 2.0 CEUs $350/person/course for course offering 4.0 CEUs

Online Course Development:	In partnership with LEARN NC, USDLC offers a series specifically designed to prepare future online instructors in the areas of developing, assessing, facilitating, and building courses. Books Books Books:	Frances Bradburn, Division Director, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and her guests discuss outstanding current fiction and nonfiction for K-5 and 6-12 that support reading. This series consists of over twenty hours of video-on-demand, approximately half for K-5 and half for 6-12.	$400/building, unlimited per site.
